I just love these sweet-smelling house plants!

Scented Geranium

Scented Geranium can be tricky to grow indoors, but if you can manage it, you’ll love its incredible scent. There are several varieties that come in lemon, lime, nutmeg, and other scents. In fact, Geranium leaves are often distilled into essential oils. Keep soil moist and place in an area of the home that receives bright, indirect light. This plant will also grow best when the soil is kept consistently moist but not soggy.

Arabian Jasmine

If you can keep your plant in a spot of your house that gets plenty of bright but indirect light, it will bloom all year long. And when it blooms, it puts out some SHOWY flowers that fill a room with an amazing scent. Water the plant weekly, or as often as needed to keep the plant consistently moist. Eucalyptus

Though Eucalyptus plants will have to be moved outside at some point in its adult life (they grow big!) they make a great houseplant until then. Keep your plant in a bright spot, protected from any heat waves or cool drafts. You’ll be instantly calmed by the spa-like scent of this tree, and the leaves are gorgeous too. This is one of my favorite nice smelling houseplants.

Gardenia

I love a good Gardenia plant…it’s showy and smells completely amazing. Gardenia plants give off gorgeous flowers in the right kind of conditions. Fortunately, they are easy to duplicate in your home. Keep it in an area of bright light (a few hours of direct sun is perfect) and make sure your home is really humid. Fertilize twice yearly (once in the Spring and once in the Summer) to give it that oomph to produce blooms in it’s growing season. However, even when the gardenia isn’t blooming, it still provides a really sweet-smelling scent.
